Lindaas presents workshop at American Association of Physics Teachers conference

Steve Lindaas, Physics and Astronomy, attended the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) summer conference last week. He presented a workshop, “Demo Kit in a Box: Sound and Wave” and presided over the “Physics and Society: Climate Change” session that he had organized. Both the workshop and session were well attended and generated good discussions amongst participants. In addition to workshops and sessions he is involved in planning future conferences as an active participant at multiple committee meetings. The conference was held at the Utah Valley Convention Center with the workshop at Utah Valley University in Provo, Utah.
