Sheeley accepted to prestigious accounting PhD program

Bret Sheeley, Adjunct Professor of Accounting in the Paseka School of Business, was accepted to the PhD in Accounting program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the Fall 2019 term. Bret is a recent graduate of MSUM’s Paseka School of Business, earning a BS degree in Accounting in May 2014 and a MS degree in Accounting & Finance in December 2015. After graduating from the MSAF program at MSUM, Bret completed the CPA exam and earned the highest exam score in the State of North Dakota during the July 2016-June 2017 testing year. Prior to joining the Accounting faculty at his alma mater, Bret was an accountant at Kilbourne Group, a real estate development firm focused in downtown Fargo, for over four years.
