Society of Physics Students wins national award

The Society of Physics Students (SPS) has been once again recognized for their quality and quantity of activities they do with the wider community.

The National Council has awarded the Minnesota State University SPS Chapter a 2017-18 Distinguished Chapter. This is the sixth consecutive year that the MSUM SPS Chapter has been recognized with a Distinguished or Outstanding chapter award. This award recognizes the dedication and commitment to the SPS mission and vision to foster a strong SPS community and enrich the public’s appreciation of science in general and physics in particular.

Everyone is welcome to join SPS. If you enjoy communicating science to the public though demos and events and want more information contact Mel Foley (SPS President) foleyme@mnstate.edu.
