MSUM Women’s Rugby advances to Nationals
The MSUM Hummerz have had a successful season with experienced vets and talented rookies. Finishing the regular season 5-1, they took down all the competition at the Final Four Tournament for Minnesota. Then the Hummerz travelled to Findlay, Ohio this past weekend to compete in the 2018 Women’s 15s Central Region Championship. The Hummerz defeated University of California (Pennsylvania) and Oswego State University of New York to obtain the Central Region Champion Title and move on to Nationals!
Tori Teske won the MVP for the tournament while Maddie Linder was awarded the Heart and Soul Award.
The 2018 NSCRO Women’s 15s National Championship will take place in Marietta, Georgia over the 1st and 2nd of December. To keep up with your lady Hummerz during their national run, follow MSUM Women’s Rugby on Facebook!
