Top 7 things to do in the Fargo-Moorhead area

Top 7 things to do in the Fargo-Moorhead area

Fargo-Moorhead is full of fun stuff to do throughout the year.  Here are some of my favorites:

Attractions
I couldn’t pick just one of these. Sky Zone, Fargo Escape Room, and Thunder Road are all great ways to spend some time away from studying.

Thursday Movies
Marcus Theatres in Fargo has discounted movies Thursday nights for $6.00. Plus, you get free popcorn!

Gooseberry Park
Gooseberry Park is beautiful and very close to campus! It is abundant with walking trails and bike trails that can be used both in the summer (walking, biking, running) and winter (cross country skiing, snow shoeing).  It connects to Lindenwood Park in Fargo where you can cruise along the river all the way up to Downtown Fargo.

Bowling at Sunset Lanes
Grab some friends and enjoy free bowling with your student ID after 9:00pm Monday-Thursday.

Tea Berry
Downtown Fargo has a lot of cool places to check out.  A crowd (and my) favorite is always Tea Berry AKA the best smoothies in town!

West Acres Shopping Center
Food, coffee, art and shopping! There’s something for everyone.

Sporting Events
Head over to Newman Outdoor Field for a Red Hawks Baseball Game or Fargo Force Hockey Game at the Scheels Arena. They offer student discounts throughout the year, so be sure to check out their websites to see when the best deals are!

This is just a start of all there is to do here. Between the delicious restaurants, events, and on-campus activities, you’ll never get bored exploring and trying out new things!
