MSUM thanked for role in park project

On July 12, 2018, there was a ribbon cutting ceremony for the official opening of the revamped M.B. Johnson Regional Park in Moorhead. The Anthropology and Earth Science department and University were publicly thanked by many speakers for our role in facilitating the cultural resource portion of the project. We have been involved in the expansion of the Moorhead Trail that will run continuously from M.B. Johnson to Bluestem in the south since its inception. It is expected that this summer we will continue our work in assessing the cultural resources impacted by this route.
