What visit day is best for you at Minnesota State University Moorhead?
We have a lot of visit options for you to pick from at MSUM, so how do you know what to choose?
What: During a daily visit, you will take a tour of campus which includes our academic buildings, classrooms, residence halls and athletic facilities. You will also have the opportunity to meet with an admissions representative, schedule appointments with faculty members, and meet with staff in areas you need your questions answered such as Financial Aid, Disability Services, etc.
When: Monday through Thursday at 9:30 am or 1:30 pm; select Saturdays (faculty and student services appointments not available on Saturdays)
Best for: Anyone looking to get an overview of campus with the opportunity to get your questions answered by customizing the visit with appointments from various departments
Friday Tour and Talk
What: A Friday tour is very similar to a daily tour, but with an added presentation from our admissions representative on all you need to know about becoming a Dragon.
When: Fridays 9:00 am or 1:00 pm
Best for: Anyone looking to get a closer look at what it takes to be a Dragon; the presentation is a great way to get a start on the admissions process
What: Explore MSU Moorhead beginning with a welcome and campus overview presentation followed by a tour of campus led by a current student. You’ll learn about our academic and student service programs, research and internship opportunities, tour facilities, and engage with current students and faculty. Housing and Financial Aid are also available to answer questions.
Options: We offer different variations of our Preview Days which include Admitted Student Day, a Transfer Open House, and Junior Day. Each day caters to the specific group of students to give you the exact information you are looking for about MSUM.
When: several dates are available throughout the year
Best for: Anyone looking to get a better feel of what campus and student life is like and learn from the people who know it best, current students and faculty
