Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society invitations sent to high-achieving freshman

Invitations to join the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society have been sent to MSUM’s highest achieving freshmen, based on fall semester grades and class rank. This national honor society provides leadership, service, and scholarship opportunities to its members.

MSUM has had an ALD chapter since 1966. Honor Societies have existed as a part of the higher education tradition since 1885. In 1925 the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) was established to help colleges and universities assess the value and credibility of these organizations. Alpha Lambda Delta is a non-profit organization and meets all certification criteria set out by ACHS.

MSUM has a long history of active student involvement in Alpha Lambda Delta. If a student asks you if this honor society is legitimate, you can assure them in good faith that it is. Contact chapter advisor Janet Haak (haak@mnstate.edu) with any questions, and thank you for your support of academic excellence among MSUM students.
