‘Homegrown: From Farm to Fargo’
Student Documentary showing at Fargo Theatre Wednesday
Minnesota State University Moorhead students enrolled in the TV News Documentary class are thrilled to announce their project, “Homegrown: From Farm to Fargo,” will premiere at the Fargo Theatre, Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
The students spent several weekends and weekdays this past fall, shooting video and doing interviews at Red River Market in downtown Fargo.
The students also profiled many of the vendors at their farms—to see how much work is done before the product gets to the market. The downtown market has exploded into a Saturday fall tradition, showcasing dozens of local farmers and their products.
The documentary showcases the Red River Farmer’s Market and the impact it has on the community and surrounding areas.
