Kristjansson-Nelson’s film, Hús, kicks off first day of Festival Mutoscopio

Kyja Kristjansson-Nelson’s most recent film, Hús, kicked off the first day of Festival Mutoscopio in Puebla, Mexico the evening of Saturday, Nov. 18. Now in the forth edition, Festival Mutoscopio is dedicated to exhibiting contemporary video art from around the world.

Shot in Iceland and North Dakota, Hús is an experimental short about emigration and immigration, featuring a sound score by Icelandic noise artist AMFJ. Though not included in official selection, the L.A. Underground Film Forum recently acknowledged Hús with an Honorable Mention for the film’s unique contribution to cinema.
