Sumali Pandey awarded $25,000 grant

Sumali Pandey, Biosciences Department, has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the High Plains Intermountain Center for Agriculture Health and Safety (HICAHS), to support her research on epigenetic and transcriptomic events associated with mold exposures. Mold related exposures are frequent in a farm environment, and this research will benefit the diagnostic and therapeutic decision making process in the agricultural community. Sumali will be collaborating with undergraduate students to execute the experiments for the proposed research.
