Fargo Theatre presents 9th annual LGBT Film Festival

Friday, Sept. 15 – Saturday, Sept. 16 | Fargo Theatre

Sixteen films about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender experiences and life will be screened at the Fargo-Moorhead LGBT Film Festival opening Friday, Sept. 15, at the Fargo Theatre in downtown Fargo.

The festival includes films from the United Kingdom, Brazil, Italy, Iran, Germany, Hungary, India, and the United States. Screenings take place Friday at 8 p.m., and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. An extra screening is scheduled before Friday’s official opening on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m.  For all sessions, several short films, diverse in style, subject and genre, precede each feature film.

Individual tickets to each screening session are $10; a festival pass for all films is $30. Tickets will be sold at the door in the Fargo Theatre lobby. 

The festival is sponsored by the Fargo-Moorhead Pride Collective and Community Center, the MSUM School of Media Arts & Design, the MSUM Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the Awesome Foundation of Cass-Clay, the Pride Collective and Community Center, MART Paints, the Fargo Theatre, and individual community members.
