Dr. Lisa Karch presents at 2017 Region IV Annual Paraprofessional Conference

The Lakes Country Service Cooperative hosted the 2017 Region IV Annual Paraprofessional Conference: Support Students to Soar at Kennedy Secondary School in Fergus Falls on August 16. Dr. Karch presented four times to over 175 paraprofessionals in the region. Her presentation, Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES): Trauma & Resilience Toolkit provides information about the ACE Study, along with neurobiology that explains why ACES impact people’s lives, and what we can all do to dramatically improve the health and resilience for this and future generations.
