Gerontology students and faculty attend the Minnesota Gerontological Society Conference
Gerontology students Haley Cox, Leah Oien, Anna Samson, and Linda Vue, along with Life Science Education student Jonathan Verdon and Gerontology Program Coordinator Sue Humphers-Ginther attended the 41st annual meeting of the Minnesota Gerontological Society in Brooklyn Center, MN on April 28, 2017. This year’s conference theme was “The Business of Aging: Exploring Partnerships, Possibilities & Priorities.” Leah Oien, a senior majoring in both Gerontology and Social Work, was awarded a highly competitive Gerald Bloedow Scholarship to support her continued study of Gerontology in the fall.
