Brad Bachmeier gives presentation at World Heritage Site

As part of the Artist in Residence Series at Mesa Verde National Park, ceramic artist Brad Bachmeier gave two public presentations; at the Mancos, Colo., Public Library and at the Far View Lodge. Mr. Bachmeier, a national and international award winning ceramic artist from Fargo, N.D., spent two weeks in May exploring the park’s geology and archeology to further his study of mankind’s ancient and universal partnership with clay and further develop his “Primal Element” series of ceramic vessels placing the Mesa Verde cliff dwellings and ceramic use in a global context.
