Tom Reburn has accepted the position of Director of Undergraduate Admissions with a start date of June 5.

Doug Peters, the Interim Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs stated the primary goal of the search was two-fold: to hire someone with the skills and knowledge to do the work and equally important fit into the MSUM community while continuing to help grow the momentum the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has worked very hard to build.

The momentum that MSUM has regarding recruitment and enrollment is because there are a lot of people working together and there is a realization that good ideas can come from anywhere.

Peters believes that Reburn will work with that mindset and utilize the skills and expertise the Admissions team and the rest of the campus community has to continue to build on MSUM’s recruitment and enrollment momentum.

Reburn’s first day on campus will be June 5 and he and his family will be in town at the beginning of May to look for housing.

Steve Shark will continue until Tom arrives.
