Dragons sophomore wide receiver Jacob Richter had 20 catches for 296 yards and two touchdowns Saturday, April 22, at Scheels Field at Alex Nemzek Stadium. Richter caught a late touchdown for the White team, but it wasn’t enough as the Red squad held on for a 28-27 victory in MSUM’s annual spring football game.”

Mankato sweeps Dragons in softball, InForum: “Minnesota-Mankato improved its overall record to 44-6 with a 7-0 and 7-3 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball doubleheader sweep over Minnesota State Moorhead Sunday.”

About 200 rally in Moorhead as part of March for Science events across U.S., InForum: “Almost 200 people gathered at the Minnesota State University Moorhead campus for a local version of the March for Science, events held across the U.S. to opposes policies of President Donald Trump, such as climate change denial, that critics see as anti-science.”

NSIC reaches agreement with Midco for live football broadcasts next fall, InForum: “The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference reached a one-year agreement with Midco Sports Network for live broadcasts of 20 football games next season … Minnesota State Moorhead will be part of three live football broadcasts, including one Thursday night game. The Dragons host Southwest Minnesota State at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, on MidcoSN. They are also parts of live Midco broadcasts on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Augustana and Saturday, Nov. 4, at Minot State. The Saturday broadcasts will be aired on either MidcoSN or its second channel.”
