Two men suspected of stealing textbooks at NDSU may have been at MSUM

MSUM Public Safety is asking that people report incidents of stolen textbooks following an NDSU alert last week that two men are suspected of stealing high value textbooks.

In the alert, NDSU Police said that on February 23 between 5:40 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., two males entered multiple locked offices in NDSU’s Barry Hall and stole a large number of textbooks. “It appears that the suspects are mostly interested in stealing text books related to subjects like, but not limited to: Accounting, Economics and Econometric.”

MSUM Public Safety Director Jim Schumann said the suspects were seen on video at MSUM’s Center for Business on Friday, February 24, 2017, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. MSUM Public Safety has taken several reports of missing books from offices in the Center for Business and asks that anyone missing textbooks or sees any suspicious individuals to call Public Safety. If you can identify either of these individuals, please call Public Safety at 477-2449. Thank you.
