Dr. Stewart, students present early math research at MnAEYC state conference
Dr. Lisa Stewart, Psychology/School Psychology and her early math research team—Ashley Doll, Kate LeBrasseur and Joshua Johnson—presented a session at the state Minnesota Association for the Education of Young Children (MnAEYC) – Minnesota School Age Care Alliance (MnSACA) state conference on February 3, 2017 in St. Paul, Minn. Their session was titled “Making Early Math Activities and Math Vocabulary in your Preschool Classroom Fun” and included a summary of research on early math vocabulary conducted in a local preschool and hands on activities and practice using the study materials.
