MSUM School of Art, Kiwanis Club of Fargo award $1,300 to high school art students, schools at third annual High School Art Exhibition

MSUM hosted it’s Third Annual Kiwanis Club of Fargo–Regional High School Visual and Media Arts Workshop Friday, Jan. 20, in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts on the MSUM campus. An exhibition of the more than 220 students’ work opened Jan. 9 and continues through Jan. 27.

An awards ceremony took place at noon on Jan. 20, where 35 students were recognized with excellence awards. About 200 of the students from 21 regional high schools in North Dakota and Minnesota attended four of the 40 hands-on workshops offered during this intensive on-campus experience. In one of the workshops, students drew live animals brought from the Red River Zoo.
