MSUM hosts high school art workshops, competition and exhibit

MSUM’s School of Art hosts the Third Annual Kiwanis Club of Fargo Regional High School Visual and Media Arts Workshop Friday, Jan. 20, in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts on the MSUM campus. An exhibition of the students’ work opened Jan. 9 and continues through Jan. 27. An awards ceremony takes place at noon on Jan. 20, between morning and afternoon workshop sessions.

More than 200 art students from twenty-four regional high schools in North Dakota and Minnesota will attend four of the 40 hands-on workshops offered during this intensive on-campus experience. In one of the workshops, students will draw live animals brought from the Red River Zoo.
