Combined Charities Campaign in Progress

The State Employees’ Combined Charities Campaign is now in progress.

There are 37 approved charitable federations to choose from in this year’s Campaign representing hundreds of charities working in communities across Minnesota. Many of these federations allow you to designate your gift to a specific charity or nonprofit group.

  • Donations impact the vital work being done by our Minnesota Charities.
  • Funds raised from the campaign help support worthwhile efforts in your hometown and neighboring communities throughout the state.
  • Signing up for payroll deduction is a convenient way of giving to multiple organizations at once, allows the charities you support to budget and plan for their next year, and it reduces administrative costs for the charities. Payroll Deduction gives you an easy place to locate all of your charitable contributions for tax reporting purposes.

It’s so easy! Pledges are processed online using the State of Minnesota Employee Self Service website (the same place you do your time entry in the “other payroll” category), www.state.mn.us/employee.

If your favorite charities are not participating in this campaign, you can still donate – just find a federation that will allow designations and donate. The instructions on the Self-Service website will walk you through the designation process.
