MnDOT Suggests Alternate Route to Campus

Construction at the I-94 interchange with Highway 75/8^th Street is causing congestion on 20^th Street and the 20^th Street ramps onto I-94.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation is urging faculty, staff and students to consider taking an alternate route when driving to campus from Fargo. 

People heading into Moorhead from Fargo on I-94 are urged to consider the following alternate route during the morning rush hour (7:30-9 a.m.) until the interchange reopens.

From I-94 Eastbound

• Take Exit 2A –  SE Main Avenue/Co Rd 52
• Turn left onto SE Main Avenue
• Turn left onto 12^th Avenue South
• Follow 12^th Avenue South to campus

While this adds travel distance, it will likely save time.

The same route in reverse may save time in the evening.
