WebEx Consultation Series: Proposed Changes to the Allocation Framework

Proposed changes to the allocation framework have been presented to Minnesota State Board of Trustees and are now out for review and consultation.  As part of the review and consultation process, the system office will be hosting several WebEx sessions over the next three months to review the recommendations, answer questions and solicit feedback.  All Minnesota State faculty, staff and students are invited to attend one or more of the sessions. 

Work on the proposed changes will continue over the summer months.  Any updates to the proposed recommendations will be included in the monthly session presentations.

July Sessions

There are three sessions scheduled for July.  Each of the sessions will present the same information; they are scheduled at different days and times to accommodate different schedules and availability. The dates and times for the July WebEx sessions are:

  • Wednesday, July 13, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Monday, July 18, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, July 19, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

August Sessions

The scheduled dates and times for the three August WebEx sessions are listed below.  These presentations will provide an overview of the recommendations and will also include any updates to the proposed changes that are being considered for inclusion into the final recommendations. As with the July sessions, each session will present the same information and are being scheduled at different days and times to accommodate different schedules and availability.

  • Monday, August 22, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Monday, August 29, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 30, 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

September Sessions

Two sessions are scheduled for September. An overview of the recommendations will be provided along with any updates to the proposed changes that are being considered for inclusion into the final recommendations. The sessions will be identical and are being offered twice to accommodate different schedules.

  • Wednesday, September 14, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, September 15, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

SharePoint Review and Comment Site

A SharePoint site is also being developed to accept comments and feedback on the proposed recommendations.  A link to the site will also be posted on the Finance allocation framework webpage referenced above.
