Brad Bachmeier, Legacy Children’s Foundation Lead Fargo Public Art Commission’s First Project

Ceramic Artist Brad Bachmeier, in conjunction with the Legacy Children’s Foundation, is leading the Fargo Public Art Commission’s first project; and you can help!

The City of Fargo’s first large-scale public art project has been designed by artist Brad Bachmeier for the Madison Community’s upcoming new skate and bike park in North Fargo. The project will feature a large whimsical gateway arch that includes a mosaic mural wall that every child at Madison Elementary school helped create. The second sculptural component of this project is a 30-foot long playground lizard sculpture that children can climb with seating for parents.

public ArtThe public can get involved and join MSUM student volunteers, Legacy Foundation public school students, and local artists on four community work days: June 17, 18, 24, or 25.  Work days are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. with lunch and refreshments provided.
