Construction Management Students Rock National Exam
Spring 2016 AC Construction Certification Exam Results
Eighteen of the 20 Minnesota State University Moorhead Construction Management spring 2016 graduates passed the national construction management exam for a 90 percent pass rate. The national average pass rate was 52 percent. In addition, the average test score for MSUM students was 76.1 percent, while the national average score was 68.8 percent. The MSUM results met or exceeded the national average in all 20 Construction Management Student Learning Outcome assessment categories.
All Construction Management students are required to sit for the CPC Level I, AC Construction Fundamentals Exam when they are enrolled in the CM 496, Capstone Experience. The exam is developed and monitored by the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) Certification Commission which has significant industry input. The exam has been given at MSUM each semester since 2000. The students have scored at the national average or higher 26 of the 31 times the exam has been given.
