MSUM professor and grad host community event for children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders
Dr. Camille Brandt, School of Teaching and Learning, along with MSUM recent graduate Michaela Kolness, Netha Cloeter, Director of Education and Social Engagement, and Catie Miller, Manager of Educational Programming, will be co-leading an inclusive community event at the Plains Art Museum for students with multiple impairments on Tuesday, April 19. This event is a continuation of the work between museum leaders, community volunteers, and Dr. Brandt to develop inclusive experiences for children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders and other special education needs. Students from outside of the Fargo-Moorhead region will be attending the event with teachers and volunteers. Dr. Brandt will be speaking on this work at the 2016 International Inclusive Education Conference in Venice, Italy, in June of 2016.
