On Sunday, March 6, at 4 p.m. on the Gaede Stage, the FM Opera Gate City Bank Young Artists will perform opera scenes and arias. The event is free and open to the public. Founded in 2013, the Gate City Bank Young Artist Program is the first of its kind in the region, bringing groups of young professionals to Fargo from February through April of each year.

The Young Artists perform at schools, community events and in FMO’s productions of Face on the Barroom Floor, Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi. For more information about those events, go to fmopera.org.

The Young Artist Program is funded by a generous grant from Gate City Bank with additional assistance from the Twin Cities Opera Guild, the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation and Anda Properties. To get a free ticket, go to mnstate.edu/tickets, or call the MSUM Box Office M-F from noon to 4 p.m. at (218) 477-2271 or get at the door.
