High school art students recognized by Kiwanis and MSUM
MSUM’s School of Visual Arts announces the winners of the Second Annual Kiwanis Regional High School Visual Arts Exhibition, chosen during MSUM’s annual Visual and Media Arts workshop day in January. Twenty-four regional high schools sent 205 students, who attended four of the 36 hands-on workshops that were offered during this intensive on campus experience.
Thirty-nine students were recognized for excellence in their studio work in eight media categories. Cash prizes totaling $1,000 were awarded by the Kiwanis Club of Fargo to nine students. They were:

Best in Printmaking: Joshua Moeller, May-Port CG
Best in Photography: Elias Pribbenow, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, Fergus Falls
Best in Painting: Maggie Peterson, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton
Best in Drawing: Megan Vetter, Sheyenne High School, West Fargo
Best in Ceramics: Madi McCoy, Hawley
Best in 2D Mixed Media: Alexis Briard, Lake Park Audubon
Best in Media Arts: Theodore E Milz, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton
