The Fargo-Moorhead Astronomy Club, MSUM Planetarium, MSUM Department of Physics and Astronomy and MSUM Regional Science Center will have telescopes set up for viewing the stars this Friday, Oct 16, from 7:30-10PM at the RSC. The event is in celebration of the White House Astronomy Night early next week.
Communication Week will take place Oct. 19-23 and free to all students. The goal is to bring together industry professionals and students studying communication, advertising, journalism, public relations, broadcast and similar areas. The activities target broad and special interests within the realm of Communication that aim to expose students to opportunities and knowledge, which would not be available otherwise.
Representatives from four ELCA seminaries, including Luther Seminary, St. Paul, will be visiting the MSUM campus on Wednesday, October 21. The representatives will host a free lunch on October 21 from 11-1 at the Lutheran Campus Ministry Blue House, a block west of Hagen Hall. Anyone interested in visiting with one of the seminary representatives is invited to attend.
Swing Dancing Downtown (a special event) is happening for the first time this Thursday, October 15 at 7 p.m.-11 p.m. in CDT at the Ecce Art Gallery with professional lessons that go from 7-7:30 p.m. with Mr. Johnny Fargo (Johnny Noone) who used to teach lessons every week at the Avalon with open dance to follow. $5 admission and please wear flats (not heels) so […]
