The Department of Anthropology and Earth Science hosts a successful Native American Heritage Month

The Department of Anthropology and Earth Science’s Prairie Nations Research Group in conjunction with the Dragon Anthropological Association (DAA) would like to thank the MSUM community for their support of our Native American Heritage Month Roundtable Series. Six events were held throughout the month:

“History of the Ioway Reservation” by Lance Foster (THPO Ioway Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska

“Contemporary Ojibwa and Lakota Ceremonialism” by Jon Weaver (White Earth Ojibwa/Lakota)

“My Reflection, Your Observation: How others can change your Social Identity” Stephanie Snow (Meskwaki)
