Chris Walker’s work accepted into highly competitive photography show
Chris Walker, Mass Communications, had work accepted into a highly competitive juried photography show through the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colo. Two pieces were accepted into “Portrait 2016,” and received a director’s honorable mention. The show featured work by 48 photographers selected from 436 applicants from all over the world. The honorable mention Walker received places him in the top two percent of all applicants for this year’s show.
Walker was also accepted into the 7th Edition of the Pollux Awards, a juried show out of the United Kingdom. In that show, Walker was a runner-up in the “People, Culture and Daily Life” category, and a finalist (top 25) in “Landscapes and Seascapes.”
The work Walker submitted for both shows came from his county fair project, “Six Nights a Year,” which is featured on Walker’s website at: http://www.chriswalkerphoto.com/
