Volunteers are needed for the Haunted Mall!

Planning on 800 kids
The Moorhead Center Mall and Moorhead Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 2nd Annual Haunted Mall event! Kids of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities in addition to trick-or-treating in a safe, controlled environment. Activities being planned include haunted mazes, photo booth, pumpkin decorating, coloring contest, glow stick walk, making science concoctions, games, hands on activities by area organizations and much more. Concessions will be onsite.
Volunteer Needs:
October 31st
1:00-3:00pm – 6 volunteers to help set up, put up signage and decorate.
2:30-7:30pm – 30 volunteers are needed to assist with monitoring and spooking kids in haunted maze, coloring contest, pumpkin decorating area, information table, distributing candy to areas as needed and assisting kids with hands on activities and games. All volunteers should dress in Halloween Costume. Dress in comfortable shoes.
7:00-8:00pm 6 volunteers to assist with tear down
October 26th-October 30th
We are looking for groups to help decorate 2 Haunted Maze spaces – one not so scary and one rather scary space for kids to go through. The Mall has two empty store to create a fun experience for this community event! We can help get supplies needed.
