Dr. Ken Messina, Counseling and Student Affairs, recently co-presented two workshops at the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) national conference in Philadelphia, PA on October 9, 2015. Dr. Messina co-presented the roundtable session “Preparing counselors for the workforce: Incorporating documentation and treatment planning into the classroom” and the educational session “Creating cultural competence: Engaging students in a virtual world” with colleagues from Duquesne University. The ACES conference is held every two years and focuses on improving educational and supervision practices in counselor education.
