Sandy’s Donuts accepts challenge, will have Red and White Donuts Saturday
A Twitter challenge by President Blackhurst (@PrezBlackhurst) has been accepted by Sandy’s Donuts (@sandysdonuts) and the results will be delicious.
On Thursday, Blackhurst Tweeted to ask if the owners of Sandy’s, local legends in the donut world, would be willing to offer donuts with red and white sprinkles in honor of the Dragon football game against Southwest Minnesota State University. “What are the chances of getting red & white sprinkles on some of @sandysdonuts? Green & gold are ok and all but how ’bout some #dragonlove?”
A short time later, Sandy’s replied, “@PrezBlackhurst OK. OK. I get it. Over 40 retweets. #PowerOfThePrez Red & White donuts this Saturday at both locations. #GoDragons.”
The original Sandy’s location is 301 Main Ave. West, West Fargo and the new Fargo location is 300 Broadway North…in case you are hungry for a donut Saturday morning.
