It will go down as the most dramatic win in the Steve Laqua coaching era and as one of the most thrilling wins in recent Minnesota State University Moorhead football history. Junior receiver Cory Ambrose hauled in the winning 15-yard touchdown with time expired to give MSUM a 30-28 win over Concordia-St. Paul in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Saturday in St. Paul, Minn.
MSUM is now 2-0 on the season, the first time the Dragons have started 2-0 since 2006. Concordia fell to 0-2. It is only the second Dragon win in 11 meetings with the Golden Bears.
