ACE ND Fall Conference – Monday, September 21, 2015
The 2015 Fall Conference is co-hosted by North Dakota State College of Science, North Dakota State University, and Rasmussen College at NDSU’s Memorial Union. Senator Heidi Heitkamp will be our keynote speaker.
This will be a day of networking, professional development, and leadership for women in higher education.
The conference schedule is as follows:
Monday, September 21, 2015
7:45 am to 8:15 am – Registration (Ballroom Lounge)
8:15 am to 9:00 am – Continental Breakfast and Discussions (Great Plains Ballroom)
9:00 am to 10:45 am – Welcome and Keynote Address: Senator Heitkamp (GPB)
11:00 am to 11:45 am – Keynote: Tonya Stende, Dale Carnegie (GPB)
11:45 am to 1:00 pm – Lunch & Facilitated Networking Break-out Sessions (Note: you will be assigned to one of your top three choices from the list below):
– Leadership for Faculty in STEM and other Research Disciplines
– Faculty Path to Leadership
– Becoming a Student Affairs Administrator
– Becoming a College President
– Work/Life Balance on the Path to Leadership
1:00 pm to 2:15 pm – Panel: Women in Higher Ed Leadership (Century Theater)
2:15 pm to 3:00 pm – Conference Wrap-up (various rooms)
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Reception (Butte Lounge)
Lunch will include a build-your-own sandwich bar with options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.
A limited number of parking permits will be available to conference participants. These can be purchased for $2 each on the check-out page. Prepaid permits can be picked up on the day of the conference at the registration table.
Group Registration – $300 for 10 participants
Individual Registration – $35 each
