MSUM Celebrates 43rd Annual Fourth of July at Bluestem Center for the Arts

Parking Options
Parking is available at the Southside Regional Sports Complex (2000 40th Ave. S., Moorhead). Shuttle buses will transport people to Bluestem. No parking pass is required to park at the soccer complex.

The 43rd annual old-fashioned community 4th of July celebration will be held at the Bluestem Center for the Arts (801 50th Ave. S.W., Moorhead) instead of on the Minnesota State University Moorhead campus. A major renovation to MSUM’s SCHEELS Field this summer prompted the venue change.

Activities begin at 7 p.m. with Games Galore. A short program featuring MSUM President Anne Blackhurst and members of Trollwood Performing Arts School will be held midway through the evening. The children’s bike parade will not be held this year. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The Lake Agassiz Concert Band and the Front Fenders will provide the evening’s musical entertainment with fireworks beginning at 10:30 p.m.

Neighborhood viewing gatherings are encouraged.
