Robb Dent named New Assistant Director for Career Services

Robb Dent has been appointed as the new Assistant Director for Career Services.

Robb possesses knowledge and expertise in the administration and interpretation of career and personality assessments, job search and interview techniques, and personalized career exploration and group workshops. Robb, is “vehement about career counseling and is excited to engage and steer students toward their occupational aspirations.”

Prior to this role Robb served as an Admissions Recruiter at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He has served in concurrent roles in the MSUM Counseling and Student Affairs Program as their Graduate Assistant, Departmental Liaison, and Teacher’s Assistant. He served as a Counseling Intern in the MSUM Community Outreach Center and at Minnesota State Community and Technical College. He also served as a Paraprofessional at West Fargo Public High School.

Robb earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Counseling and Student Affairs from MSUM, and Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts from Riverland Community College.

Robb’s enthusiasm, skills and talent will inspire and make a valuable impact on the students he will guide and mentor through career exploration. So please join in congratulating Robb in his new leadership role at MSUM.
