Moorhead announces Sidewalk Art and Poetry Contest
A major sidewalk replacement project is happening in Moorhead this summer. The local arts community wants your help to make the sidewalks an expression of local creativity.
Moorhead residents of all ages and students of all public and private schools and colleges are invited to submit original works of graphic arts and poems for the possibility to be imprinted in sidewalks throughout Moorhead. Submission deadline is May 15, 2015 at 4 pm.
Art and poems will be presented anonymously to a review committee for selection. Works of art selected by the committee will be unveiled in late May. If selected, the work of graphic or literary art will be imprinted on sidewalks throughout Moorhead starting in Downtown Moorhead this season.
