This is the last of what have become bi-monthly segments entitled Spotlight on Service-Learning. Each monthly Spotlight highlights the endeavors of one of the many MSUM service-learning practitioners. This Month’s Spotlight on Service-Learning recognizes Janelle Miedema. The Sigma-Sigma chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity would like to congratulate the spring graduates of the Class of 2015 on their achievement. Three brothers of Kappa Sigma will earn the honor and privilege of transitioning to Alumni this semester.
Dr. Norma Jean Andersen, CPC has been appointed to a four-year term to the National Certification Commission Board of Governors. The Board of Governors oversees the American Institute of Constructors Certification Commission and it Constructor Certification Program. The commission oversees the national exam that the Construction Management must sit for during their senior year.
The Society of Professional Journalists have named two Campus News stories as national winners in its annual Mark of Excellence Awards. “Fun with Physics” by Onize Ohikere was named the national winner in the Television Feature Reporting category and “Scuba Class at MSUM” by Lindsay Anderson and Mike Hansen was the national winner in the Television Sports Photography category.
