Ximena Suarez-Sousa, STL, presented at American Educational Research Association meeting

Ximena Suarez-Sousa, School of Teaching and Learning, presented at the Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association that took place in Chicago. The presentation focused on exploring the validity of using the National School Lunch Program as a proxy for socioeconomic status in studies that explore variables that impact students’ scholastic performance. This is a study that was conducted in collaboration with Boyd Bradbury, professor in the School of Teaching and Learning.
