Sigma Pi Sigma chapters are restricted to colleges and universities of recognized standing that offer a strong physics major. Students elected to membership must attain high standards of general scholarship and outstanding achievement in physics that include research, outreach and service. The five new members are Wyatt Davis, Laura Herzog, Kyle Salk, Beau Scheving and Dr John Harris. The induction ceremony and banquet was held Saturday evening. The keynote address was given by Dr John Harris, a MSUM Physics major and newly minted Physics PhD. The title of his talk was “ How I Got Out of Grad School Alive.”
