Nepal Earthquake 2015
You might be already aware that our country Nepal has been hit by a series of earthquakes the past three days. The death toll is already over 4,000 and is expected to go up as dust settles after this devastation. Thousands have been injured, countless have lost homes. The survivors are in need of basic humanitarian help like food, water, warm clothes and tents.
As our small effort to provide support to the affected areas of Nepal, MSUM NSA members along with Nepalese Alumni is organizing week-long events to get as much help as possible from the community. Collected funds will go to the reliable NGOs. Please come join us for the following events:
Tue: Donations Booth @ CMU Main Lounge 10:00 AM- 8:00 PM
Wed: Auction & Donation Booth @ CMU Main Lounge 10:00 AM-8:00 PM
Thu: Henna Tattoo at 12:30 PM @ CMU Main Lounge and Open Mic from 7:00 PM- 10:30 PM
Fri: Icecream Social from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and Candlelight Vigil from 7:00 PM -10:00 PM
