Next week there will be a series of events celebrating Women’s History Month: Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives. Events next week include:

Monday, March 9th from 6pm-7:30 in CMU 205
“Strength From Broken Places: Women and Peacebuilding in Post-Genocide Rwanda”
Community lecture featuring Dr. Eddah Mutua-Kombo

“Their Words, Actions, and Meaning: A Researcher’s Reflection on Rwandan Women’s Experience of Genocide” Lecture by Dr. Eddah Mutua-Kombo

Wednesday, March 11th from Noon-1pm in the Women’s Center
“Feminist Filmmaking: Practice and Processes” A Luncheon Lecture with Dr. Kyja Kristjansson

“Arming Sisters” A unique self defense workshop with Patty Stonefish
