Dr. Richard Lahti (Chemistry) and Isaac Skalsy (Chemistry Education Sophomore) to co-present Friday at MnCOSE

Dr. Lahti and his research student Isaac will make a series of three related presentations at the Minnesota Conference on Science Education on Friday, February 20th. The first summarizes their research to date on the relationship between school participation in regional science fairs and state test scores in science. The second examines ways to increase alignment between Minnesota Academic Standards in Science and science fair projects. The third is a critical review of science fair literature, examining various myths and misconceptions about science fair.
