There are two fan buses – one for general Dragon fans and one for students — set for the Minnesota State University Moorhead basketball teams’ doubleheader at Augustana on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The women’s game is at 4 p.m. that day with the men’s game set for 6 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The fan bus for the general public is set to leave at the north end of Nemzek Hall at 11 a.m. on Feb. 7. The cost is $55 and includes a suite ticket for the games, a charter bus ride, a light lunch, drinks and snacks on the bus and light appetizers and drinks at the game. This bus is not for students but is open to all other Dragon basketball fans. The bus will stop for a pit stop in Watertown, S.D. on the way and will depart 15 minutes after the completion of the men’s game. If you have any questions, please contact Andrew VanHavermaet at vanhaveran@mnstate.edu
A student fan bus is also scheduled for the basketball games on Feb. 7 at Augustana. The bus will leave at 11 a.m. on Feb. 7 from the CMU metered parking lot and will return after the games. Cost to attend is only $5 and that includes transportation and a game ticket. Students are asked to bring a lunch for Saturday and any snacks or drinks for the bus ride and money to buy food at the games. All university policies will be in effect. The bus is available for currently enrolled MSUM students only. To secure a spot on the bus, students are asked to bring $5 cash to the CMU Info Desk starting on Wednesday, Jan. 28 or to the Dragon home basketball games in Nemzek on Jan. 30 and 31. The student fan bus is sponsored by athletics and enrollment management and student affairs.
