Brandau film plays festival circuit

School of Media Arts & Design professor Tom Brandau’s latest film, Home Delivery, is having some success on the festival circuit. Set in Baltimore (1974) the dramatic short tells the story of two newspaper delivery boys (one white, one African-American) struggling with the racial divide between their adjacent neighborhoods. Having premiered at last year’s Fargo Film Festival, the film has also screened at the South Dakota Film Festival and the Global Peace Film Festival in Orlando, FL. Upcoming screenings include the Green Bay Film Festival, the Peace On Earth Film Festival in Chicago and the New York Children’s International Film Festival.

Written and directed by Brandau, produced by Janet Haak (Director of Study Abroad) the film also includes the talents of over a dozen former MSUM Film students including Andrew Neill, Travis Hart, Patrick Thompson, Eric Carlson, Sam Johnson, Jason Bedard, Mary Zantopp, Nate Bergeson, Chance Cole, Jake Hopkins, Joey Kramer, Scott Tostenrud, Ben Efron (editor) and Amber Johnson (director of photography).
