With a grant he obtained from Minnesota-Uruguay Partners of the Americas, and through the relationship between the sister cities of Montevideo, Minn., and Montevideo, Uruguay, Andy Stermer, ’14, Music, brought Uruguayan master drummer Álvaro Salas, of Montevideo, Uruguay, to his hometown in June.
