#curatedlife: exhibition by MSUM Photography students at ecce gallery now through December 17, 2014
Head down to ecce art gallery in downtown Fargo December 9-17, 2014 and see if you made the wall. MSUM Photography students share their views of social media in the exhibition #curatedlife. A semester collecting and curating images from various social media platforms including instagram, facebook, snapchat, and twitter is laid out for your viewing pleasure in the gallery’s long hall. Photo students Stacy Barth, Grace Clark, Matt Eckelberg, Jill Gandrud, Angelee Hale, Taylor Herian, Kayla Rutherford, Jordyn Steffen, Jessica Stenzel, and Lacie Weisz invite you to consider the modern photographic aesthetic and how it shapes the way we see the world. Twelve students in three months sifted through a barrage of imagery documenting everyday life, selecting over 900 images.
